Yael Kahn

Yael Kahn is a Jewish anti-Zionist activist with a history of dissent against Israeli apartheid and occupation. Born to Jewish parents who fled Germany before World War II, Yael grew up in southern Israel unaware of Zionism or the Nakba, but later became involved with the Israeli socialist group Matzpen. She played a significant role in the First Intifada by organizing protests, supporting refugee camps, and advocating for Palestinian political prisoners. Since moving to the UK in 1988, Yael has continued her activism, openly calling out Israeli policies as genocidal and apartheid. Her advocacy remains central to her life's work, leading to arrests and court appearances for her outspoken opposition to Zionism.
