William I. Robinson

William I. Robinson is a Jewish American sociologist and Distinguished Professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His work focuses on global capitalism, political economy, and state violence. Robinson is one of the most prominent academic critics of Zionism, Israeli apartheid, and the genocide in Gaza. Robinson has repeatedly described Israel as a settler‑colonial apartheid state founded on ethnic cleansing, violence, and terrorism, and argues that genocidal pressures have been inherent to the Zionist project since its inception.
