Tony Greenstein

Tony Greenstein is a British activist, writer, and long‑standing anti‑fascist organizer. Raised in an Orthodox Jewish family, he became active in anti‑racist and anti‑fascist movements in the 1970s and 1980s, opposing groups such as the National Front and the British Movement. He later became a founder member of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign and has written for publications including The Guardian, Tribune, Labour Briefing, Weekly Worker, Electronic Intifada, Jacobin, and Al Jazeera. Greenstein is a prominent Jewish anti‑Zionist and a founding member of Jews for Boycotting Israeli Goods. He has written extensively on Zionism, the Labour Party’s antisemitism controversies, and the history of anti‑fascist struggle in Britain. His recent work includes the book Zionism During the Holocaust and regular commentary on Israeli state violence, Palestinian resistance, and the politics of memory.
