I am a local Jewish anti-Zionist organiser involved in Palestine solidarity work and community organising. My work is mainly focused on bringing people together, creating spaces for political discussion and education, and helping activists who are often working on their own to find one another. I organise study groups, public discussions and local campaigns, and take part in mutual-aid and solidarity initiatives. I work alongside both Jewish and non-Jewish Palestine activists, and am particularly interested in building practical relationships across those communities rather than keeping Jewish organising separate from the wider movement. I also help create spaces where Jews can question Zionism and discuss their relationship to Israel, Judaism and Jewish identity without being expected to defend a particular political position. Part of this involves supporting people who have found themselves isolated from family, friends or Jewish communal institutions because they have spoken out, or who are only beginning to question views they have previously taken for granted. bringing people together, building trust, sharing knowledge and helping develop the relationships and confidence that enable people to act collectively.
