Independent Jewish Voices Canada

Independent Jewish Voices (IJV) Canada was founded in 2008 as a national organization representing Jews in Canada who support peace and justice. It was the first national Jewish organization in Canada to support the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. IJV provides a platform for Jewish Canadians to challenge the policies of the state of Israel and the positions of major Canadian Jewish institutions. It frames its work around human rights, international law, and opposition to apartheid.
