HaMoked - Center for the Defence of the Individual

HaMoked is an Israeli human rights organisation founded in 1988 during the first Intifada. Based in Jerusalem, it provides legal assistance to Palestinians whose rights are violated by the Israeli occupation. The organisation’s work focuses on freedom of movement, residency rights, and the prevention of state violence and house demolitions. HaMoked is a key legal actor in documenting and challenging the structural abuses of the Israeli military and administrative systems in the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem. It uses legal advocacy to oppose policies it frames as collective punishment and ethnic cleansing.
