Gail Pressberg

Gail Pressberg is a Senior Program Officer at the Civil Society Institute, where she works on global warming programs. She has over 25 years of experience in Middle East development, peace, and energy issues, and served on the advisory council of the American-Israel Council for Israeli-Palestinian Peace. In 2000, she was appointed by President Bill Clinton to serve on the first stem cell ethics review committee of the National Institutes of Health. Pressberg has received recognition for her work, including the Janet Lee Stevens Prize from the University of Pennsylvania and the Isaiah Award from Americans for Peace Now. She co-authored the book 'The Promise and Politics of Stem Cell Research' and has been a board member for organizations such as the Foundation for Middle East Peace and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
