B’Tselem – The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories

B’Tselem is an Israeli human rights organization founded in 1989 to document violations in the occupied Palestinian territories. With both Palestinian and Jewish members, it conducts field research, collects testimonies, publishes reports, and provides verified data on the actions of Israeli authorities and security forces. Its work is widely cited by journalists, legal bodies, and international human rights organizations. In 2021, B’Tselem publicly declared that Israel operates “a regime of Jewish supremacy… from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea,” describing this system as apartheid. The organization has since continued to publish detailed investigations into Israeli state violence, structural discrimination, and the humanitarian impact of military policy in Gaza and the West Bank, making it a central voice in Israeli Jewish dissent.
