Anti-Zionism Australia

Anti‑Zionism Australia is a non‑denominational collective based in Australia that publicly rejects Zionism as a political system grounded in Jewish supremacy. The group describes Zionism as both an ideology and a settler‑colonial project supported by Western imperialism, and states that the establishment of Israel as a race‑based ethnostate has come at the expense of Palestinians. They identify Israel as an apartheid state engaged in illegal expansion, ethnic cleansing, and what they describe as genocide in Gaza. The collective was initiated by Jewish Australians and former Jewish residents of Palestine in Naarm/Melbourne, including former Zionists who now oppose Zionism as part of a universal anti‑racist and anticolonial framework. They work in collaboration with pro‑Palestine movements and other anti‑Zionist groups to promote de‑Zionisation in Australia through education, mobilisation, resistance, and advocacy. Their stated purpose is to stand against ethnocide, genocide, and apartheid, and to amplify the radical anti‑Zionist tradition in Australia.
