Amos Goldberg

Amos Goldberg is an Israeli historian and Holocaust scholar, holder of the Jonah M. Machover Chair in Holocaust Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. A public intellectual and writer, he has published articles and given interviews in which he accuses Israeli actions in Gaza of constituting genocide and has criticized Israel's response to October 7 as a criminal overreaction. Goldberg combines scholarly research on the Holocaust with contemporary commentary on Israeli policy and public memory.
